Dr. Van Vo, O.D.
Dr. Van Vo is a therapeutic optometrist and an optometric glaucoma specialist. She is national board certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease. Dr. Vo received her Doctor of Optometry from The University of Houston College of Optometry. She is also an alumnus of The University of Houston where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a minor in Health.
Dr. Vo has extensive training in ocular pathology including diabetic and hypertensive retinopathy, macular degeneration, dry eye, and glaucoma. During her clinical rotation at Bridge Builders Eye Clinic, Neurodevelopmental Sensory Enhancement Center, and the University of Houston Eye Institute, she gained valuable experience on full scope optometry working alongside with glaucoma, retinal, and oculoplastic specialists in diagnosing and managing patients with various ocular conditions. Dr. Vo has published and lectured her Grand Rounds on ocular tumor as part of a continuing education program. Her special interests include patient education, routine adult and pediatric eye care, hard to fit contact lenses, medical eye treatment, and diabetic/glaucoma/LASIK/cataract co-management.
Dr. Vo is a member of the Northeast Texas Optometric Society, Texas Optometric Association, and American Optometric Association
Dr. Vo is fluent in Vietnamese. Outside of the office, Dr. Vo enjoys cooking and spending time with her friends and family, especially over a good meal. She also enjoys traveling and a good "chick-flick" movie every so often.
Dr. Thang Do, O.D.
Dr. Do is a licensed optometrist certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease. Dr. Do received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry. He is a member of the Northeast Texas Optometric Society. Dr. Do thoroughly enjoys his work and is passionate about patient care.
In his time of leisure, he enjoys playing basketball and tennis. He never passes on an invitation for a meal and enjoys southern comfort food, especially pecan pies.
Whitney is a mother of 3 (Alijah, Carmelo, Karlee), who currently resides in Plano, but was originally from Portland, OR. She loves to try new food and hanging out with her kids on the weekends. She has special interest in office management. She is dedicated to thoroughly informing our patients of their insurance plan and benefits, and how to use such benefits to effectively meet the patient's needs.
Courtney joined our practice in 2015. She enjoys patient care and developing great rapport with patients. Courtney is a full time student at Collin College. Her goal is to transfer to Texas Women’s University to get her degree in Nursing. In her free time, she loves hanging out with family and friends. Her hobbies are exercising and playing with her 4 dogs. She loves to travel and experiences new places.
Lauren is full-time student at Collin Community College studying to be an Early Childhood Special Education teacher. She’s originally from Long Island, and has moved to Texas since 2011. She loves spending time with family and friends, dancing, traveling, and taking naps. She enjoys helping different patients each day and providing a welcoming environment.
